Welcome to Vertical Lures ! My name is Scott Cormier, and I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I have been addicted to Bass fishing since I was old enough to walk to the banks of the Menominee River where I grew up. Some of my earliest memories were of my friends and I raiding our fathers tackle boxes for lures to throw at the Bass and Pike in the river. Soon, my father really started getting onto the sport, because he was seeing less and less of his "little man". He purchased our first Bass Boat for the family, and as they say, the rest is history ! We spent as much time on the water as a family could in the summer, camping all over Wisconsin and Michigan. Following my fathers footsteps into our local B.A.S.S. Club, I soon was fishing against some of Wisconsin's finest anglers, and being competitive at an early age. I soon wanted more competition, and started fishing in open tournaments when the pocket book allowed. At this time I was Manager at a major Sporting Goods Retailer, But felt I needed a change. So I went to work at a Hilltop RV And Sport in Escanaba, Mi. My Boats were shipped from the factory there to be set up, and I was already helping them sell boats at their shows, so it was a great fit. In 2000 we decided to stop selling Boats, and concentrate on RV's, which was always our specialty. I have been here going on 15 years. I am the Sales Trainer, and work with our Sales people to better help our customers and respond to their needs. When not fishing, I love spending a quiet day at home with my lady Robin, Spoil our first grand child Peyton, Shot a round of golf, or walk our Rottweiler Harley. I also spend many hours a year promoting and selling products for my sponsors. I am the head of a "Show Team" that is available to Manufacturers and Dealers to give them a highly motivated professional sales team to help promote and sell their products on the national stage.
