My name is Eric Borkoski; I grew up here in Minnesota. My dad and I spent weekends summer or winter on some lake somewhere fishing for something. After high school I wanted a change of scenery so I picked up and moved to Colorado. After about six years there I needed to get back to the land of 10,000 lakes. So it was back home to Minnesota. At that time I was training and showing horses for a living and that is where I met my wife Ingrid. We had a daughter Ivy in 2006. Ingrid is still in the horse business as a vet, But I have moved on and am working for Cabela's representing fishing and marine products. Now I get to talk fishing each day with fellow employees and public alike. (Tough job but somebody needs to do it.) I also get to keep up with the latest and greatest in the fishing market. I plan to continue running the North Suburban Fishing Club which seems to grow and improve each year. Along with a few tournaments I try to fish each year this upcoming summer I plan to try and fish a few larger ones schedule permitting. At this time I am running a Cobra by Viper boats, powered by Mercury, Minnkota, and Lowrance electronics.
