Bio:

My name is Ben Cayer, I am sixteen years old, and am an avid bass fisherman. I've been fishing since I was able to walk, and have been fishing competitively since I was ten years old. I belong to the North Country Jr. Bassmasters, where I've been club champion four times. I've been to two B.A.S.S Jr. championships, including the first one ever, held in Charlotte, N.C. I placed second at Lake Norman, with a three and a half pound lunker, and walked away with three thousand dollars in scholarships for college. I plan to go to Vermont Technical College when I finish High School, and pursue an Associates degree in Civil Engineering. Once done with that, I hope to work my way into the professional bass fishing world, and fish the FLW tour. My all-time favorite lake is Lake Champlain, mostly because it is an hour away, and also because it is a phenomenal fishery. I love throwing a Tube Jig and a senko, they are my absolute favorites. It is tough to live in Vermont where you can only fish for half of the year, but I deal with it. I'd like to thank my family, especially my Uncle, for their support and teaching me all that I know.
