My name is Barry Waldron and I live in LeClaire, Iowa (Quad Cities) located on the Mississippi River. I was brought up and surrounded by the bass fishing world and started competitive bass fishing with my Father when I was 12 years old. We have won many tournaments together and I continue to fish with him in local events. I will be fishing the 2009 BFL as a Boater.
I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001 with a degree in Computer Science. During my college years I worked at the utility company and fished local bass tournaments to help pay my college tuition. My degree on paper was one thing but my natural ability to sell was another. This ability led me to my career of being a Financial Advisor / Insurance Agent for Farm Bureau Financial Services.
My Objective is to conquer and challenge the world of bass fishing, to better myself with knowledge of this great sport, to educate, and to promote the sport of professional angling by living a strong code of ethics.
