4. Vertical Lures JigX, Chunk X Sling

Vertical Lures unveiled a new jig system that eliminates many of the problems associated with traditional jigs.

For starters, there is the new JigX football-style jig. The bait features a specially-designed head that places the line-tie on the bottom of the bait where it’s protected and less like to snag. Very smart.

Since every jig needs a trailer, Vertical Lures also designed a new trailer that has a unique head design that claims to allow for unobstructed collapse of the weedguard. It’s also perfectly designed for Verical Lures’ new ChunkX Sling, a small rubber keeper that prevents the trailer from sliding off the jig. Basically a modified o-ring, the sling should solve the real problems associated with trailers balling up on the jig when coming through cover or when a fish hits.
